Certification in Ayurvedic Medicine
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the 900-hour Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Medicine offered by Ayushakti Academy of Ayurveda.
The program is accredited by the Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board (ATAB), a body operating under Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
The training provided advanced knowledge in Ayurvedic Medicine, including constitutional assessment (Prakriti), identification of imbalances (Vikriti), Ayurvedic diagnosis, therapeutic nutrition principles, traditional herbal medicine, health-promoting daily routines, Ayurvedic pathophysiology, disease prevention, and the practical application of classical Ayurvedic principles for the promotion of health and holistic well-being, as well as Panchakarma techniques.
Certification in Ayurvedic Wisdom for Health and Healing
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the Ayurvedic Wisdom for Health and Healing program, delivered online by Ayushakti Academy of Ayurveda, comprising 900 hours of study.
The program is accredited by the Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board (ATAB), a body operating under Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
The training provides an in-depth understanding of the classical principles of Ayurveda as applied to health promotion, disease prevention, Ayurvedic nutrition, lifestyle management, traditional herbal medicine, and strategies for achieving holistic balance of body, mind, and consciousness.
Certification in Ayurvedic Fundamentals
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Basics, delivered online by Ayushakti Academy of Ayurveda, comprising 700 hours of study between April and August 2025.
The program is accredited by the Ayurveda Training Accreditation Board (ATAB), a body operating under Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.
The training provided a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, including dosha theory, individual constitution (Prakriti), the principles of health and disease, Ayurvedic nutrition, lifestyle management, daily and seasonal routines, and essential concepts for promoting health and well-being from the perspective of traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
Intermediate Herbalism Certification (Intermediate Herbal Course)
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the Intermediate Herbal Course offered by The Herbal Academy, an advanced herbalism training program designed for students with prior knowledge of medicinal plants and herbal practices.
The program provides in-depth training in the practical application of traditional and contemporary herbal medicine, including herbal actions, safety considerations and contraindications, formulation of herbal preparations, herbal energetics, constitutional theory, anatomy and physiology of the body's major systems, and the use of medicinal plants to support overall health and well-being.
Professional Diploma in Leech Therapy (Medicinal Leech Therapy)
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the Professional Diploma in Leech Therapy offered by Leech Therapy Centre UK, a specialized professional training program in hirudotherapy (medicinal leech therapy) designed for integrative healthcare practitioners and complementary therapists. The course is accredited by the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA) and the CPD Standards Office, with international recognition.
The training covered the historical, scientific, and clinical foundations of medicinal leech therapy, including the biology of medicinal leeches, the biochemistry of leech saliva, and the study of its bioactive compounds with anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory, and circulatory-supporting properties. The program also addressed therapeutic indications, contraindications, safety protocols, infection control, treatment planning, and the management of potential adverse effects.
The diploma included advanced training in therapeutic protocols for a variety of health conditions, including cardiovascular, inflammatory, dermatological, gynecological, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders. It also incorporated supervised clinical practice, leech application and removal techniques, post-treatment care, and professional record-keeping and documentation.
Professional Diploma in Panchakarma Therapy
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed an advanced professional training program in Panchakarma offered by AyurvedGuru Hospital, consisting of 100 hours of online study and four weeks of intensive hands-on training in India.
The program provided comprehensive theoretical and practical training in Panchakarma, the classical Ayurvedic system of purification and rejuvenation. The curriculum included the study of the fundamental principles of Ayurvedic cleansing, dosha balancing, patient assessment, and the development of individualized therapeutic protocols.
The practical training covered the five principal Panchakarma therapies (Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana), as well as complementary procedures such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedana, Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Griva Basti, and other traditional techniques commonly used in Ayurvedic clinical practice. The program also included the therapeutic use of medicated oils, ghritas, and herbal preparations, together with patient evaluation and follow-up protocols.
The in-person clinical training provided direct observation and practical application of Panchakarma procedures within a specialized Ayurvedic healthcare setting, strengthening the competencies required to integrate these therapies into Ayurveda-based health and wellness programs.
Diploma in Garbha Sanskar and Ayurvedic Prenatal Wellness
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed specialized training in Garbha Sanskar offered by AyurvedGuru, a program focused on the Ayurvedic principles of preconception preparation, conscious pregnancy, and the holistic well-being of both mother and baby.
The training covered the three traditional stages of Garbha Sanskar: preconception preparation (Beej Sanskar), support during pregnancy (Garbha Sanskar), and postnatal care (Bal Sanskar). The curriculum included Ayurvedic nutrition, self-care during pregnancy, prenatal exercise and yoga, pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, maternal-fetal bonding techniques, breastfeeding, and postnatal care.
The course explored Ayurvedic approaches to fostering a healthy physical, emotional, and mental environment throughout pregnancy, integrating guidance on lifestyle, emotional well-being, daily routines, relaxation practices, early mother-child bonding, and comprehensive support throughout the different stages of motherhood.
This training complements professional education in women’s health, Ayurveda, and traditional therapies, providing specialized knowledge in Ayurvedic support for fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period from a holistic perspective.
PATH Program – Advanced Training in Siddha Veda and Ayurveda (3,000 Hours)
Elsa Ramos Elías successfully completed the PATH Program (Personalized Ayurveda Training for Health), a three-year advanced training program comprising approximately 3,000 hours of study dedicated to the comprehensive learning of Siddha Veda and traditional Ayurveda.
The program provided an in-depth immersion in the classical principles of Ayurveda, including pulse assessment (Nadi Pariksha), identification of the root causes of imbalances, individualized patient evaluation, and the development of therapeutic strategies based on nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle recommendations, and traditional Ayurvedic therapies.
The training included the study of traditional texts, Sanskrit terminology, Ayurvedic philosophy, Marma points, Panchakarma therapeutic protocols, and health-promotion methods focused on prevention and the holistic balance of body, mind, and consciousness.
Through theoretical instruction, practical workshops, clinical demonstrations, and applied training, the program developed competencies in clinical observation, Ayurvedic assessment, pulse reading, traditional body therapies, and the application of personalized Ayurvedic healthcare principles.
The training was delivered by Ayushakti Academy as part of its international professional education program in Ayurveda and Siddha Veda.
200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training – Yoga Alliance Certified
Elsa Ramos Elías completed the 200-Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, a Yoga Alliance-certified program delivered by Vinyasa Yogashala.
The training covered traditional Kundalini Yoga, meditation, pranayama, and yogic philosophy, alongside Kundalini physiology and awakening practices, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga foundations, postural alignment, applied anatomy, and teaching methodology.
The program included live classes, manuals and study materials, and hands-on practice in mantra, meditation, and class sequencing, culminating in a certification qualifying for 200-RYT registration with Yoga Alliance.
The training was delivered by Vinyasa Yogashala as part of its international yoga teacher certification program.
Marmaa Shakti Mastery Course – Rishikesh, India
Elsa Ramos Elías completed Dr Naram's Marmaa Shakti Mastery Course in person in Rishikesh, India, from 17 to 26 November 2025, taught by Ayushakti Academy of Ayurveda under Vaidya Krushna Naram and the Ayushakti vaidyas.
The ten-day programme covered the foundations of Marmaa Shakti, techniques for the limbs, back and neck, the application of marma work with children, work on the chest and abdomen, the traditional rituals that accompany the practice, and the full range of the 107 marma points described in the Ayurvedic tradition, together with their therapeutic applications across a range of clinical presentations.
The training was delivered entirely in person in Rishikesh, with supervised practice on the marma points, following the method developed and transmitted through the Naram lineage.
